Japan Committee, Vaccines for the World’s Children (JCV)
is a donation recipient of the Tokyo Marathon 2024 Charity.
Together with us, we are looking for charity runners who can run in the streets of Tokyo
for the smiles and future of children in developing countries.

Around the world, 4,000 children die every day because there is no vaccine that costs only 20 yen per child.

Charity runner application guidelines
- Donation amount per person
- 100,000 yen or more per person
- Selection method
- In descending order of donation amount. If the donation amount is the same, the winner will be determined by lottery.
- Recruitment number
- 30 people
- Preferential tax treatment
- Donations are eligible for deductions for donations and preferential tax treatment.
*In addition, each item and regulation of Tokyo Marathon 2024 will be followed.
*Additional runners may be decided if there are vacancies.

Donating vaccines to children in developing countries
Your charity donations will be converted into vaccines and related equipment and delivered to children in Myanmar, Laos, Bhutan and Vanuatu.
About Tokyo Marathon Charity
Through the Tokyo Marathon, it is an initiative to expand the range of charity activities.
You can participate by making a donation. Those who wish to donate more than the amount set by the donation recipient (JCV) can participate in the Tokyo Marathon 2024 as a charity runner to promote their charity activities.

Giving vaccines to 5,000 children for 100,000 yen
The vaccines we support are very cheap. For example, a polio vaccine costs 20 yen per person. With a charity of 100,000 yen, we can give vaccines to 5,000 children.
Notes
- After receiving the e-mail, if you do not complete the payment procedure within the deadline, your eligibility will be invalidated.
- If there is no donation payment procedure, it will be lost.
- Payment method is credit card payment only.

Application requirements are individual applicants with a donation of 100,000 yen or more per person, and corporate applicants with a donation of 100,000 yen or more per person .
Selected by higher donation amount.
If there are multiple applications with the same amount, we will decide by lottery. - At this point, it is not yet confirmed to run
- Failure to pay the participation fee will result in disqualification as a charity runner.
- Regarding the payment of the entry fee, etc., the entry secretariat will send an e-mail in advance to inform you of the start of the procedure.
- Participation fees paid to the Tokyo Marathon Foundation are different for residents living in Japan and those living overseas. For details, please check the Tokyo Marathon 2024 official website.
- Please note that charity donations are non-refundable. (Based on the entry rules of the Tokyo Marathon 2024 Charity Application Guidelines)
