Japan Committee, Vaccines for the World’s Children (JCV)
is a donation recipient of the Tokyo LEGACY HALF Marathon 2024 Charity.
Together with us, we are looking for charity runners who can run in the streets of Tokyo
for the smiles and future of children in developing countries.

Around the world, 4,000 children die every day because there is no vaccine that costs only 20 yen per child.

Charity runner application guidelines
- Donation amount per person
- 50,000 yen or more per person
- Selection method
- It will be decided on a first-come, first-served basis.

- Donations are eligible for deductions for donations and preferential tax treatment.
*In addition, each item and regulation of Tokyo LEGACY HALF Marathon 2024 will be followed.
*Additional runners may be selected if there are vacancies.
Donating vaccines to children in developing countries
Your charity donations will be converted into vaccines and related equipment and delivered to children in Myanmar, Laos, Bhutan and Vanuatu.
About Tokyo LEGACY HALF Marathon Charity
Through the Tokyo LEGACY HALF Marathon, it is an initiative to expand the range of charity activities.
You can participate by making a donation.Those who wish to donate more than the amount set by the donation recipient (JCV) can participate in the Tokyo LEGACY HALF Marathon 2024 as a charity runner to promote their charity activities.

Participation Steps & Schedule

Select after checking the recruitment page of the donation destination business / organization (JCV)
Please be sure to complete STEP 2 to STEP 5 below by May 24, 2024 (Fri) 17:00.
Charity runners will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.

Apply for participation as a charity runner using the application form designated by the recipient project/organization (JCV).

- The recipient business/organization (JCV) will inform runners who have applied to make a donation payment in sequence. *You will be notified by email that you have been decided as a charity runner.

Giving vaccines to 2,500 children for 50,000 yen
The vaccines we support are very cheap. For example, a polio vaccine costs 20 yen per person. With a charity of 100,000 yen, we can give vaccines to 5,000 children.
Notes
- If you do not complete the payment procedure within the deadline after receiving the email, your charity runner qualification will be invalidated.
- Payment method is credit card payment only.
- Application requirements are individual applicants with a donation of 50,000 yen or more per person, and corporate applicants with a donation of 50,000 yen or more per person .
- At this point, it is not yet confirmed to run
- Failure to pay the participation fee will result in disqualification as a charity runner.
- Regarding the payment of the entry fee, etc., the entry secretariat will send an e-mail in advance to inform you of the start of the procedure.
