Osaka Marathon 2026 Charity – Call for Donations and Charity Runners
Japan Committee, Vaccines for the World’s Children (JCV)
is a donation recipient of the Osaka Marathon 2026 Charity.
Together with us, we are looking for charity runners who can run in the streets of Osaka
for the smiles and future of children in developing countries.

Charity runner application guidelines
- Donation amount per person
- 485 USD or more per person（plus 145 USD entry fee）
- Selection method
- First come, first served

- Preferential tax treatment
- Donations are eligible for deductions for donations and preferential tax treatment.
*In addition, each item and regulation of Osaka Marathon 2026 will be followed.

Donating vaccines to children in developing countries
Your charity donations will be converted into vaccines and related equipment and delivered to children in Myanmar, Laos, Bhutan and Vanuatu.
About Osaka Marathon Charity
With the motto “Let’s create a rainbow together,”this initiative aims to promote charity activities through the Osaka Marathon.
By donating an amount equal to or greater than the amount designated by the event,you will be able to participate in the Osaka Marathon 2026 as a charity runner.

Giving vaccines to 5,000 children for 100,000 yen
The vaccines we support are very cheap. For example, a polio vaccine costs 20 yen per person. With a charity of 100,000 yen, we can give vaccines to 5,000 children.
Notes
- The procedure and precautions for participating as a charity runner, including the contents below, are in accordance with the Osaka Marathon 2026 Event Guidelines and Application Terms and Conditions.
- The application website is different for domestic runners and overseas runners. Please be sure to check before applying.
- Overseas runners applying as charity runners are required to pay both the entry fee (145 USD) and donation amount (485 USD or more) in full at the time of registration. Please note that cancellations or refunds will not be accepted after payment is made.
- If you are unable to participate due to illness or injury, you will not be able to have a substitute participate.
- If the race entry fee and other fees are not paid, your charity runner status will be invalidated.
- Please refrain from applying to be a Charity Runner and other categories at the same time.
- Runners may be asked to cooperate with media coverage. In addition, footage, photos, articles, and applicants’ names, ages, addresses (prefectures or cities, wards, towns, and villages) may be used on television, in newspapers, magazines, on the Internet, and in any other media related to the Osaka Marathon. Please note this in advance.

Children in Japan can be vaccinated as soon as they are born as a matter of course, but depending
on the country where they are born, the reality is that children cannot
grow up to 5 years old safely because there is no vaccine.
