About JCV
The Establishment and its Goals Main Objectives in the Future Staff Members
Established in January 1994, the Japan Committee, a non-profit organization (NPO), operates under basic guidelines and objectives of the "Children's Vaccines Initiative" established in 1990 by UNICEF, WHO, UNDP, The Rockefeller Foundation and the World Bank.
Among the tasks included in the Initiative, JCV appeals to individuals and groups for their cooperation in raising funds for the following purposes :

Supplying vaccines to help eradicate polio in the Asian region.

Surveying the needs of developing countries in Asia and dispatching
immunology specialists to provide appropriate help in preventing polio.
